Robert P. Keohan, age 71, of Simpson, PA and New York City, NY, died early Thursday morning, February 6, 2014 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. Born May 15, 1942 in New York City, NY, he was the son of the late Joseph and Kathryn (McDonald) Keohan. Robert was a fork lift operator for many years before his retirement. He was a hard worker, enjoyed history, scratch offs, soccer and drinking. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends in New York. He is survived by many family members including: Cathy, Joe, Shane, Rudy, Sharon, Nicholas, Timothy, Angela, Ron, Ronnie and many other family members and friends in New York. As per his request, cremation took place and a viewing for family and friends was held Saturday, February 15, 2014, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, PA.
