Obituary

Robert Haines, Sr., 62, of Melbourne, FL. and formerly of Lake Ariel, PA., died Sunday, March 19, 2006 in a boating accident at Stick Marsh, Indian River County, Florida, doing one of his favorite pastimes. Born July 20, 1943 in Madisonville, PA. He was the son of the late Raymond and Pearl Beavers Haines. Prior to his retirement he was employed as a mason for many years and was currently involved with his son, Robert Jr.s dry wall business as a supervisor. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In Lieu of Flowers, memorial contributions to the family would be greatly appreciated. He is survived by his former wife: Patricia Crawn Haines of Scranton, PA.; two sons: Robert and wife Tracey Haines, Jr. and their children Alexis Lauren of Melbourne, FL., Bryan Haines and daughter Hailey of Scranton, PA.; two daughters: Pearl and husband Thomas Tomczyk and their children Heather, Rebecca Thomas, Jr. of Lake Ariel, PA., Dawn and Alan Haines and thier children Charles, Bobbie Jo, LeRoy John of Forest City, PA.; Great Grandchildren: Andrew, Aiden Alisha; two brothers: David and wife Darlene Haines of Hop Bottom, PA. and Herbert Haines of Gouverneur, NY.; Several Nieces Nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter: Robin Haines; three sisters: Mabel Rake, Virginia Bird and Ida Robinson. The funeral was held Saturday, March 25, 2006 at 10:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, Inurnment, Simms Cemetery, Greentown, PA. Cremation followed at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Friends called Friday, March 25, 2006 from 2-4 7-9 PM
