Rita L. Loyack age 77, of 108 Cottage Street, Carbondale died Sunday evening, November 3, 2002 at the home of her son in Greenfield Township following a lenghty illness. She was the wife of Andrew Loyack who died in 1970. Born September 24, 1925 in Simpson, PA. She was the daughter of the late George and Sally (Dubill) Novak. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. Prior to her retirement, she owned and operated Ritas Hair Fashions, Carbondale. She enjoyed her work and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by one son: Gary Loyack of Greenfield Twp., PA.; 6 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one daughter: Delores; one brother: Edward Novak The funeral was held Thursday, November 7, 2002 at 10:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with mass at 10:30 am in St. Rose Of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Thomas J. McDermott. Interment, Mother Of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp. Viewing was held Wednesday, November 6, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9.
