Richard C. Pompey, 60, of Lenox Township, PA died tragically from a fall at his home on Monday, January 22, 2024. He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Debbie Hunter on January 20, 2023.

Born August 17, 1963 in Scranton, PA, he was the cherished son of Charles and Barbara Peck Pompey of Lenox Township, PA.

Rich was a graduate of Mountain View High School and later attended trade school in Indiana, Pennsylvania. He began his career as a mason and later worked as an independent truck driver and quarryman. He was the owner and operator of Glenwood Tire and Auto where he enjoyed his passion of being a mechanic.

Rich was a member of the Harford Masonic Lodge #445 and enjoyed being a gentleman chicken farmer. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting but especially cherished fishing. Rich was known for his green thumb and his abundant vegetable garden. He also enjoyed camping with his family and drag racing.

He is also survived by three sons: Josh Randall of Acworth, GA, Jeremy Randall and wife, Dana of South Gibson, PA and Dallas Pompey of Lenox Township, PA; one grandson: Alex Randall; one sister: Susan Pease and husband, Mark of Jackson, PA; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

The funeral was held Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, with Rev. Lucas Taylor, officiating. Masonic services were conducted at 3:30 p.m.

Viewing hours were held Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 1-4 p.m.
