Richard J. Dickie Hock, Sr. age 62, of Carbondale, PA. and formerly of Jersey City, NJ., died unexpectedly early Monday morning, May 9, 2005 at home. His companion for many years is Elizabeth Wink.
Born May 15, 1942 in Jersey City, NJ. He was the son of the late Richard W. and Bertha Hock.
He was of the Catholic faith. He was a Merchant Marine during the Vietnam War and a construction worker for many years in New Jersey.
He enjoyed Motorcross, spending time at Siskos Tavern in Carbondale and with his family.
He is survived by two daughters: Roxann and Gloria, both of Florida; two sons: Nicholas Cavacloglou of Edison, NJ. and Richard Hock, Jr. of Ocean Gate, NJ.; one step daughter: Mary Hock of Toms River, NJ.; one step son: Edward Wink of Toms River, NJ.; two sisters: Patricia Kaprowski and Lulu Meeney both of Passaic, NJ.; one brother: Robert Hock of Middletown, NJ.; 20 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews
He was preceded in death by one son: Mark Hock; one sister: Chris Hock
Friends called Friday, May 13, 2005 from 2-5 PM at the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale.
Cremation followed at Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA.
