Regina J. Mucksavage, 84, a resident of Osprey Ridge Health and Rehab Center, Carbondale, PA., and formerly of Park Street, Carbondale, died Sunday afternoon, October 3, 2010 at the health center. She was the wife of the late John J. Mucksavage, who died August 24, 1991. Born July 5, 1926 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Mieczylawa (Czajowski) Jablonowski. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale and was a former member of the ladies auxiliary of the Cottage Hose Company, Carbondale. She enjoyed traveling, especially her summer vacations with her husband and children when they were younger. After Regina and her husband retired, they traveled to many places within the United States and abroad. She is survived by one son: John Mucksavage and companion Kristy Hendrickson of Carbondale, PA.; one daughter: Carol Addington of Kansas City, MO.; one brother: Joseph Jablonowski and wife Carol of Apalachin, NY.; one sister: Patricia Janinek and husband Joseph of Carbondale, PA.; two grandsons: Jason and Jared; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers: Edward and Anthony Jablonowski; two sisters: Jean Guszack and Stasia Strumsky. The funeral was held Thursday, October 7, 2010 at 8:30 AM from the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place at Terrace Street, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. William D. Campbell, senior priest. Interment, St. Anthony's Cemetery, Forest City, PA. Pallbearers: Michael Mang, Robert Sanderson, Donald Strumsky, David Strumsky, Joseph Rogers, Joseph Lloyd, Joseph Lavery and James Gigliotti. Friends called Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 4-8 PM.
