Ralph Holton, age 89, a resident of Vestal, NY., died Friday afternoon, May 26, 2006 at the Osprey Ridge Health Center, Carbondale, PA. His wife Reba, of 52 years died in 1995. Born August 19, 1916 in Binghamton, NY. He was the son of the late Thomas and Edna Holton. He was a member of the Vestal United Methodist Church and the Lordville Presbyterian Church. He was an Air Force veteran of WW II having served as a flight engineer with the 468th bomb group and flew over the VJ Day signing. He was also a member of the National Guard. He is survived by one daughter: Connie Ackley; one son: Donald Holton; 8 Grandchildren; 11 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces and Nephews. The funeral was held Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 10:00 am from the Coleman Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., 765 Main Street, Vestal, NY. Interment, Lordville Cemetery, Lordville, New York. Friends called Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 7-9 PM at the Coleman Daniels Funeral Home, Inc., Vestal, NY. Local arrangments were entrusted under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale.
