Rachel M. Barber, age 84, of Lenoxville, PA. died Monday morning, February 9, 2004 at home. She was the wife of the late Ronald A. Barber who died February 4, 2000. Born February 14,1919 in Scranton, PA. She was the daughter of the late David J. and Blodwyn (Thomas) Lewis. She was a member of the Lenoxville United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of Sears Company. She enjoyed winters spent in Florida. She was an avid bowler and loved to play bingo. Rachel especially enjoyed spending time with her 6 grandchildren. Jones of Royal, PA.; 6 Grandchildren: Jeff Price, Heather Adams, David Price, Shannon Price, Alisa Stern and Amy Stern; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by two sisters: Blodwyn and Elizabeth Lewis; one brother: David T. Lewis A memorial service was held Friday, February 13, 2004 at 2:00 pm in the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, PA. with the Rev. Linda Bryan, pastor of the Lenoxville United Methodist Church, officiating. Inurnment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford. Friends called Friday, February 13, 2004 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Cremation took place in the Maple Hill at Salem Crematory, Archbald, PA.
