Piros Phillips, 98, a resident of the Barnes Kasson Skilled Nursing Facility, Susquehanna, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Barnes-Kasson. She was the wife of the late Sandor Phillips. Born February 21, 1916 in Flemington, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Elizabeth Bartus Simon. She was a former resident of New Jersey and worked as a sewing machine operator for York Luggage Company. She is survived by a son: Sandor Phillips of Susquehanna, PA. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
