Philomena Slack, age 71, of Clarks Summit, PA. died unexpectedly Monday evening, May 2, 2005 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre, PA. She was the wife of the late Reggie Slack.
Born March 18, 1934 in Paterson, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Nigro) Cupo.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Scranton, PA. She was a graduate of Passaic Heights High School in New Jersey.
She is survived by three daughters: Rosemary husband John Chumley of Wilkes-Barre, PA., Dawn Repella fiance Randy Barney of Carbondale, PA. and Dana Peterson husband Alen Shipman of Baytown, TX.; three sons: Shane Maloney of Pennsylvania, Scott wife Victoria Repella of Scranton, PA. and Dan Peterson of Scranton, PA.; one sister: Louise Cupo of New Jersey; one brother: Anthony Cupo of New Jersey; four Stepchildren; 23 Grandchildren; 8 Great Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by one brother: Alex Cupo
A graveside service was held Saturday, May 7, 2005 at 10:00 am in Cathedral Cemetery, 1708 Oram Street, Scranton.
Friends called Friday, May 6, 2005 from 2-4 7-9 PM at the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale.
