Peter R. Egnotovich, Jr., 74, of Greenfield Township, PA., died Monday, May 30, 2011 at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre, PA. He is survived by his wife of 37 years the former Stella Sopko. Born September 9, 1936 in Simpson, PA., he was the son of the late Peter, Sr. and Bertha (Bolcavage) Egnotovich. He was a 1954 graduate of the Archbald High School and was an army veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He had been self employed in the sale of industrial maintenance supplies. He was a member of the Shopa-Davey VFW Post 6082 of Peckville, PA. and enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing and gardening. He is survived by one daughter: Wendy Laporte of Mobile, AL.; one son: Jason Egnotovich of Virginia; two grandchildren: Marissa Laporte and Zachary Egnotovich. He was preceded in death by one son: Mark Egnotovich; As per his request he was cremated and no services were held. Arrangements were under the care of the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
