Peggy L. Galambos, age 63, of Clifford Township, PA., died Friday evening, January 7, 2011 at the Marian Community Hospital, Carbondale, PA. She was the wife of Steven S. Galambos and were married March 8, 1965. Born February 14, 1947 in San Antonio, TX., she was the daughter of the late Felix V. and Lula Salanky. She was a bookkeeper and seamstress for several companies for most of her life and had a great love for nature. She really enjoyed growing the beautiful flowers and watching the cows in her back yard. She enjoyed cooking, baking, crafts and especially sailing with her husband on the weekends at Lake Wallenpaupack. She loved spending time with her three dogs, Princess, Scamp and Buddy, but most of all enjoyed her time with her family. She is survived by one son: Louis Galambos and wife Carrie of Clifford Township, PA.; one daughter: Stephanie Weeden of Plattsmouth, NE.; six grandchildren: Crystal, Joshua, Steven, Michelle, Duane and Shelby; three sisters: Margaret, Bernadette and Janet; nieces and nephews As per her request, she was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA.
