Pearl M. Grumpelt, 93, of Mesa, AZ, and a former longtime resident of New Haven, CT, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Hospice of the Valley-Lund Home, Gilbert, AZ. She was the wife of Frederick J. Grumpelt, Jr., a Carbondale, PA, native who died on May 3, 1985. Born October 27, 1922 in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Mitchell Laurie. She is survived by one daughter: Ann Marie Wild and husband William of Hillsborough, NJ; one son: Frederick "Chuck" Grumpelt and wife Pamela of Chandler, AZ; 3 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister: Annie Crierie. Private interment was held in the Bethany Cemetery, Bethany, PA. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C.
