Pauline T. Bruno, 94, of Carbondale, PA, died Monday, June 6, 2022, at Carbondale Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Bruno, on December 29, 1980. Born November 25, 1927 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Theresa Furlong McIlarly. Pauline was a loving and caring mother and grandmother who was devoted to her family. She will be remembered for her kind and generous heart. She enjoyed crocheting and puzzle books. Special thanks is extended to the staff of the Carbondale Nursing Center for their exceptional care. A heartfelt thank you is also extended to Pauline's landlord and friend of 35 years, Tommy Opeil, who was always there to help Pauline with anything she needed. She is survived by one daughter: Katherine Condi of Carbondale, PA; three sons: Daniel Davidson of Carbondale, PA, John Davidson of Union Dale, PA, and Alfred Davidson of Eynon, PA; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
