Paulette M. Pilcavage, 56, of Scott Township, PA, died Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. She is survived be her husband, Richard Pilcavage.
Born July 25, 1961 in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Pauline Mattey Novitsky.
Paulette was a 1979 graduate of Lakeland High School and owned the Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise in Eynon, PA. She enjoyed spending time baking. Her greatest joy in life was her daughter, Jessie, whom she thought the world of and lived every day for. Paulette was well loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed. Her passing leaves all who knew her with heavy hearts.
Special thanks is extended to Paulette's best friend, Lisa Barrett for being there for her through every step of her illness. Her husband and daughter are extremely grateful for Lisa's support and guidance during such a difficult time.
She is also survived by her daughter: Jessie Pilcavage of Scott Township, PA; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her brother: Allen Bredbenner
As per Paulette's request, she was cremated and a private service was held at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
