Obituary

Paulette M. Brady, age 54, of Jermyn, PA. died Monday afternoon, March 29, 2004 at the home of her sister, Jeannine in Greenfield Township, PA., after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of Patrick J. Brady. Born March 30, 1949 in Bridgeport, CT. She was the daughter of Stella F. (Molinaro) Mickel of Greenfield Township and the late Paul Lemoine. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Carbondale, PA. She had an active role in the daily operation of Romanos Floral, Carbondale, which is owned and operated by her son Jimmy and daughter-in-law Denise. She was also a Mary Kay Cosmetics, Inc. consultant for 5 years. She was very active in the Lackawanna County Foster Care program for the past 10 years, where she and her husband helped raise 27 children and adopted 5 children. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother who enjoyed crocheting, especially blankets, for her family and friends. She is survived by five daughters: Dawn Macarelli of Waterbury, CT., Lisa Brady, Kristie Brady, Yvette Brady and Danielle Brady all of Jermyn, PA.; two sons: James Romano of Jermyn, PA. and Gerald Brady of Jermyn, PA.; two sisters: Yvette Sangster of Georgia and Jeannine Gillott of Greenfield Township, PA.; two brothers: David Mickel of Carbondale, PA. and James Mickel of Greenfield Township, PA.; 4 Grandchildren; Several Nieces Nephews She was preceded in death by a nephew: Frankie DeAntonio and a niece: Lisa Gillott The funeral was held Thursday, April 1, 2004 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. Russell Motsay, pastor. Interment, St. Mary of the Assumption Cemetery, Montdale, PA. Friends called Wednesday, March 31, 2004 from 6-9 pm. Pallbearers: Jerry Brady, Jimbo Mickel, David Mickel, Patrick Gillott, Casey Patuk, Joe Krisovich, Chris Porumba, James Sangster, and Bob Mroczka.
