Paulette Andrews, age 67, of Peckville, PA. and formerly of Carbondale, PA., died early Saturday morning, September 14, 2013 at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton, PA. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Andrews. Born July 21, 1946 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Banavitich) Oncavage. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church and worked in the local garment industry as a presser. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren and loved her dogs. She is survived by three daughters: Lisa Mecca and husband Daniel of Peckville, PA., Lori Frazier and husband Keith of Carbondale, PA. and Linda Andrews and companion Paul Ubaldini of Olyphant, PA.; two sons: Joseph Andrews of Carbondale, PA. and Michael Andrews and girlfriend Laura Thomas of Carbondale, PA.; 8 grandchildren; one sister: Carol Grizzanti of Carbondale, PA. She was preceded in death by one sister: Dorothy Gillette; one brother: Michael Oncavage. A private blessing service was held at the convenience of the family from the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place, Carbondale, PA.
