Paul Harry Kaehler, 73, formerly of Brooklyn, NY. and New Jersey, died Wednesday afternoon, September 28, 2011 at the Osprey Ridge Health Care Center, Carbondale, PA.
Born January 3, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY., he was the son of the late Paul and Marie (Bischoff) Kaehler.
He received his Master's of Education from Wagner College in Staten Island, NY. and was a veteran of the Army. He had been employed for 25 years as an elementary education teacher at P.S. 102 Bayview School, Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, NY. He attended the Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church in Cresskill, NJ. and was a member of the Gideons.
He is survived by two daughters: Kristin Schmid and husband Kurt of Winder, GA. and Karen Mulder of Sparta, NJ.; 5 Grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Friday, October 7, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Northern Valley Evangelical Free Church, 75 Stivers Street, Cresskill, NJ.
Cremation Arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
