Paul Frederick Fenton Hemmler, 73, of Jermyn, PA, and formerly of North Scranton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at his home with family by his side. He is survived by his wife and the love of his life, Sally (Shimkus) Hemmler. They would have celebrated 49 years of marriage on August 9th.

Born January 26, 1951 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Olive (Blaker) Hemmler. Paul attended Scranton Schools and prior to retirement was employed by PP&L. He was a car enthusiast who spent many years restoring vehicles and attending various car shows with them. Watching Nascar and drag racing brought him joy throughout his life.

He is also survived by his daughter, Michelle Battle and her husband, Patrick of Jermyn, PA; his grandchildren: Kayci, Jordan and Nolan McEathron and Valarie Battle; a sister: Deborah of Moosic, PA; a brother: Mark of Greenfield Township, PA; nephews and his beloved and loyal companion, his dog Bandit.

As per Paul's wishes, he was cremated and a private church service was held.
