Paul Lewis Eakle, age 41, of Cortland, NY., died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Geisinger Community Medical Center's ICU Unit, Scranton, PA. Born February 9, 1971 in Marcellus, NY., he is the son of Isadora (Crossman) Eakle of Dickson City, PA. and the late Raymond Eakle. Paul enjoyed the outdoors, taking walks and riding bikes. His children were his life, and they will cherish his memory. He is survived by four sons: Gregory, Tyler, Nathan and Joshua; two daughters: Cory and Ashley; four sisters: Janice, Carolyn, Linda and Mary; five brothers: Raymond, Jimmy, Charlie, John and David; nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by one sister: Sara Eakle. The funeral was held Wednesday, August 22, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Lincoln Avenue, Cortland, NY.
