Patrick Joseph Lynch, 55, of Carbondale, PA, died Thursday, October 23, 2014 at home. He was the husband of the former Theresa Zelinski. They were married June 1, 1985.
Born in Attleboro, MA, he was the son of the late Joseph and Helene Bayer Lynch.
He was raised in Dunmore and was a graduate of Dunmore High School. He was employed as a truck driver for Valley View Trucking in Dunmore and previously worked as a mechanic for B&B and McCarthy Tire both of Dickson City as well as Kane Trucking in Scranton. Patrick had a heart of gold and was loved by everyone that ever met him. He was a lover not a fighter. He had the patience of a saint. He would go out of his way to help anyone out and never expect anything in return. He would prefer smiles, love, hugs, kisses and laughter over materialistic things. He never asked for anything. He did everything he could for his wife, three girls, and grandchildren. In his eyes, his girls could do no wrong; they were his three little angels. His wife was his queen and he worshipped the ground she walked on. His grandchildren were all gifts his children provided him. He was a hard worker, who enjoyed working on motorcycles and cars. He loved riding his bike on the open road. He loved going to the casino even if it was just to eat "the disgusting" buffet he said he always gave a shot because it was free. He loved to entertain and have a good time even if it meant spending every dime he had. He was the greatest father, friend and husband anyone could ask for and will never be forgotten.
He is survived by three daughters: Krystal Lynn Lynch of Simpson, PA, Cassandra Shannon Lynch of Forest City, PA, Katryna Christine Lynch; a future son-in-law whom he considered as a son: Frederick Lennartz of Simpson, PA; five grandchildren: Aiden Michael Lynch, Adrianna Denise Flores, Alexis Rose Lynch, Shane Wilson Lynch and Alexandro Jose Salinas; two sisters: Joanie Brown of Tennessee and Helene Eibes of Scranton, PA; three brothers: Joseph Lynch of Gouldsboro, PA, Michael Lynch of Dunmore, PA and Christopher Lynch of Throop, PA; several nieces and nephews. The funeral was held Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 9:00 a.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev.
