Patricia A. Mixon, age 71, of Garden City, NY., died Friday Morning, May 16, 2008 at the Osprey Ridge Health Care Center, Carbondale, PA., after an illness. Born June 17, 1936 in Brooklyn, NY., she was the daughter of the late George and Rose (Brady) Weidler. She had been employed as an administrator for the NYPD, Brooklyn. She was of the Catholic faith. The funeral was held Monday, May 19, 2008 from the Franklin Funeral Home, Inc., 42 New Hyde Park Road, Franklin Square, NY. Cremation followed at the Long Island Cremation Company Inc., West Babylon, NY. Local arrangements were under the direction of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
