Patricia (Patti) Imbalzano, former resident of Turnersville, NJ and Carbondale, PA, died peacefully on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Media, PA. She was the wife of Anthony N. Imbalzano who died May 2, 2022. They were married on September 28, 1963.

Born February 6, 1939 in Carbondale, PA, she was the only child of the late Loretta Parise Carito, who raised Patti as a single parent. She was raised in the Pear Street home of her grandparents, the late Louis and Catherine Gabriel Parise.

Patti was a 1956 graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale, where she took First Honors in the General Course. She was also a graduate of the Lackawanna Beauty School, Scranton. Patti worked as a beautician in Scranton several years before marrying her beloved husband, Tony and starting a family that grew to three children. As the children got older, Patti started a new career in retail and worked over 30 years before retiring to enjoy time with her family. Patti was an amazing hostess and cook and treated her family and friends to many lavish meals over the years. Her daughter, daughters-in-law, and granddaughters were so grateful to serve as her sous-chefs and to learn family recipes and traditions from her. Patti was a devout Catholic and a former member of S.S. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Sewell, NJ. She was known by many who loved her for her kindness and generosity.

Patti is survived by her children: Tony Jr., Michelle (Barry), and Michael (Dorothy). Patti loved spending time with her grandchildren: Thomas (Tina), Katherine (Ben), Julia (Scott), Benjamin, Abbey, Jim (Alexa), Peter (Becca), and Elise (Colin), and great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Noah, Zavia, and Leah.

Patti is also survived by her cousin, Louis "Chippy" Parise and his sons, Jason, Jeffry, and Jonathan Parise and their families, and her brothers and sisters-in-law Genevieve, Josephine, Anne, John, Martha, Teresa, Ralph, Ann, Carmel and Don. Patti also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, whom she loved dearly.

The funeral was held Monday, June 24, 2024 from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 15 Fallbrook Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Joseph Mosley, senior priest. Interment, Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Carbondale, PA. The Mass was livestreamed from the funeral home's Facebook page.
