Oscar S. Tiffany, age 53, of Lenox Township, PA., died Wednesday morning, January 23, 2008 at the Golden Living Center, Scranton, PA., following a courageous battle with cancer. His girlfriend of 15 years is Barbara Nichols of Nicholson, PA. Born September 8, 1954 in Scranton, PA., he is the son of Edna (Hallstead) Tiffany of Lenox Township, PA. and the late Carl Tiffany, Sr. He was very active with the Elk Mountain VFW Post 8488. He is survived by one brother: Carl Tiffany, Jr. of Lenox Township, PA.; two nephews: George Ralston of Nevada and Robert Ralston of Brooklyn, PA.; one aunt, one uncle and one great aunt. He was preceded in death by one sister: Ena Ralston; maternal grandmother: Leolia Olsovsky. A viewing was held Saturday, January 26, 2008 from 7-9 PM at the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA. Cremation took place at the Maple Hill Crematory, Archbald, PA. Inurnment, Maplewood Cemetery, Kingsley, PA.
