Obituary

Nicholas J. Fasciana, 28, of Bay Harbor Islands, FL and Dunmore, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Miami Beach, FL.

Born July 19, 1997 in West Palm Beach, FL, he was the son of Joseph F. and Charleen (Nicholas) Fasciana of Dunmore.

Nick was a graduate of Scranton Preparatory School and proud graduate of the University of Miami where he triple majored in business technology, marketing and management. He also studied a summer abroad in Florence, Italy. He later earned his MBA from the University of Scranton. He started his career with Device42, a software start-up company as their sales development representative and later as their sales development manager. He was currently working as a senior business development representative for Transcend where he was able to excel in his love for sales development.

Nick enjoyed spending time with family and friends, listening to 2010's hip-hop, watching comedy podcasts, playing video games, bike riding and going to the horse track. He loved helping grow his family's 4th generation pizza business, Nicholas Pizza in Scranton, on the side.

In addition to his parents, he is also survived by the love of his life: Alivis "Ali" Santana of Miami, FL; one aunt: Linda Nicholas of New York, NY; and his puppy: Pepito.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Charles and Olympia (Talarico) Nicholas; his paternal grandparents: Dr. Joseph and Catherine (DelPriore) Fasciana; an uncle: Guy Joseph Fasciana and an aunt Marie Catherine Fasciana.

A Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, August 1, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. from St. Paul's Church, 1510 Penn Avenue, Scranton, celebrated by Msgr. Neil J. Van Loon, pastor. Interment, Cathedral Cemetery, Scranton.

Viewing hours were held Friday, August 1, 2025, from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Arrangements by Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale.

In lieu of flowers, donations were sent in Nick's name to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter, 967 Griffin Pond Road, South Abington Township, Pa 18411.
