Nada V. Straub, 76, formerly of Lewisburg, PA and a resident of Barnes Kasson Skilled Nursing, Susquehanna, PA, died Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at the nursing facility. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin W. Straub, Jr. Born July 28, 1940 in Susquehanna, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jennings Brian Birtch and the late Voilet Haynes Birtch. She is survived by a daughter: Melinda Brought of Middleburg, PA; a son: Donald Whitaker of Selinsgrove, PA; several grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held Friday, October 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. from the South New Milford Baptist Church, 2967 Harford Road, New Milford, PA, officiated by Pastor Larry Thomas.
