Obituary

Myrle E. Wallace, 82, of Clifford, died Tuesday evening, December 17, 2002 at home. His wife is the former Ann Conaboy. They were happily married 61 years. Born December 9, 1920 in Clifford, PA. He was the son of the late George and Jessica (Meade) Wallace. For many years he was self-employed in tractor and equipment sales and service. He was one of the original members of the Clifford Township Volunteer Fire Company and enjoyed more than 50 years of service at the annual picnic. He had a passion for machinery, fishing, carpentry, and most of all helping family and friends. His devotion and love to his family will always be remembered. He is survived by one daughter: Kerin LaCoe of Cranberry Twp., PA.; one son: Robert Wallace of Brentwood, CA.; one sister: Jean Conrad of Nicholson, PA.; one brother: Stanley Wallace of Nutley, NJ.; 5 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; Nieces Nephews He was preceded in death by one brother: Robert Wallace; two sisters: Ruth Gumaer and Thelma Modirge The funeral was held Saturday, December 21, 2002 at 10:00 am in the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff and Main Streets, Clifford, with the Rev. Albert Oldfield of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Moosic, officiating. Interment, Mother Of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Twp. Viewing was held Friday, December 20, 2002 from 2-4 and 7-9.
