Mildred G. Millie Goodrich, of Dalton, PA., passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at the age of 94. Her husband of 76 years, Bertram R. Goodrich preceded her in death on May 7, 2011. Born and raised in Greenfield Township, PA., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Winifred Gibbs Wells. She was a member of the Dalton United Methodist Church and the Dalton Women's Club. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Millie's family would like to thank the extraordinary staff at Hospice Community Care for their kindness and wonderful care. Special thanks to Betty Anderson, neighbor and friend, who daily gave comfort and support. She is survived by one granddaughter: Linda Goodrich of Scott Township, PA.; a sister-in-law: Jane Buck and husband Walter of New Jersey; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son: Ralph Goodrich; one brother: Ralph Wells; one sister: Mabel Tallman. The funeral was held Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 12:00 PM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA., with Rev. Kenneth Leamon, officiating. Inurnment followed the service at the Sandy Banks Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
