Mike "Lamdog" Lambert, 54, of Greenfield Township, PA, died Monday, August 17, 2015. His wife of 25 years is the former Angela M. Wassel. They were married June 23, 1990. Born August 1, 1961 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Harold and Martha (Winslow) Lambert. His generous spirit and open heart was evident to all who knew him. Michael was a 1979 graduate of North Pocono High School and worked at Stacor Corporation, Dunmore, PA and L-Wood Products in Scranton before their closings. He had an incomparable love of music and passed this enthusiasm onto countless others, including his son Martin. He was a guitarist for many local bands over the years including High Falls, The Brats, The Rebates, The Lake Band and PCB. He was also employed at the Lakeland High School for 12 years as School Aide. He found great joy and fulfillment in guiding students through the daily hardships of adolescence. He is survived by a son: Martin Jerome Lambert, at home and girlfriend Margaret Makowski; four sisters: Kathy Jeffrey, Dianne Granahan, Debbie Kaufman and Judy Decker; a brother: Robert Lambert; several nieces and nephews. A celebration of Michael's life will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2015, starting at 2:00 pm at the family's residence. Michael's cremains were buried with his mother Martha at St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow, PA.
