Michael Talarico, 86, of Carbondale, PA., died Sunday evening, January 9, 2011 at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Carbondale.
Born September 14, 1924 in Silvis, IL., he was the son of the late Jacob and Archangel (Perri) Talarico.
He was raised in Illinois and resided most of his adult life in Carbondale, PA. Prior to his retirement, he was employed in the business office of the former Carbondale General Hospital. He was an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins both in Illinois and Carbondale, including his cousin, James A. Sposito, Esquire of Crystal Lake, PA., who was his caretaker.
He was preceded in death by 10 brothers and sisters.
Their were no local services and a graveside service was held at St. Mary's Cemetery, East Moline, IL., where his ashes were interned with his parents.
Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale
