MaryLou Cobb, 65, of Carbondale, PA, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023 at home after an extended illness. She is survived by her husband, James Cobb. They would have celebrated their 18th anniversary of June 4th.

Born in Carbondale, PA, she was daughter of the late William and Louise Vosefski Moran and was a graduate of St. Rose High School, Carbondale. Her main joy was spending time with her husband, step-son, grandchildren, family, and friends whom she loved with all her heart. Those who knew her, knew she would help anyone, whether it be family, friends, or a stranger. Her door was always open as was her heart. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

She is also survived by her step-son: Jeremy Cobb and wife, Callie; three sisters: Lynn Moran, Debra Hazleton and husband, Donald and Kathleen Seprosky and husband, Dr. Joseph, two grandchildren: Lily and Logan; several aunts and uncles; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins; and two godchildren: Amanda Beader and Aaron Margotta.

The funeral was held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at noon from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA., with a blessing service conducted by Sister Ann McLaughlin, I.H.M. and Eileen Aguliar, prayer ministers at St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale, PA.  Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA.

Pallbearers: Aaron Margotta, Jaiden Smith, Matthew Robison, Anthony Hazleton, William Hazleton, Frank Beader, III., Ashton Beader, Takoda Beader, Mateo Hazleton and James Cobb.

Viewing hours were held Tuesday, April 18, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. – noon.
