Mary K. Swindells, 76, of Honesdale, PA, died Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. Born November 29, 1939 in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Agnes Manion Swindells. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a drug and alcohol counselor at the Fishkill Correctional Facility, Beacon, NY. As per Mary's request, she donated her remains to science to further advance medical knowledge. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
