Mary L. Olsewski, 88, formerly of Linden, NJ, died peacefully on Friday, July 22, 2016 in Hemet, CA. Wife of Thomas G. Olsewski who died in 2003. Sister of the late Anna Rita Watts and the late John and Francis Fitch. She is survived by sons: Tom of Winchester, CA and Paul of New York City; daughter-in-law: Maria; grandchildren: Steven, Corey and Stacey; great grandson: Easton; sister: Dorothy Mullen. Mary was originally from Carbondale, PA and moved to Linden in 1954. She resided in Winchester, CA for the past 6 years. Visiting hours were held on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Leonard-Lee Funeral Home, 301 E. Blancke Street, Linden. The Funeral Mass was offered on Monday, August 1, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. in St. Elizabeth's Church, Linden, NJ, celebrated by Rev. Alex Cruz. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Carbondale, PA. Pallbearers: Richard Metting, Pat, Steven, Corey and Stacey Olsewski. Out of town and local arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
