Mary F. Frankovsky, 78, formerly of Carbondale, PA, died Monday, September 22, 2025 at Guthrie Towanda Memorial Hospital, Towanda, PA.

Born January 27, 1947 in Waymart, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Julia Mozeliak Kennedy. Mary grew up in Waymart and graduated of the Waymart High School.

She is survived by four brothers: Paul Kennedy and wife, Patricia, Bernard Kennedy and wife, Lois and Daniel Kennedy and wife, Gloria all of Honesdale, PA, and Cecil Kennedy and wife, Beth of Lake Ariel, PA; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a son: Joseph Frankovsky, Jr., two sisters: Anna Barrese and Julia Dexheimer; and three brothers: John and Frank Homets and James Kennedy.

A graveside service was held Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Honesdale, PA, with Deacon Paul Cooper, officiating.
