Mary McNiar Brennan, 70, of South Scranton, PA., died Sunday morning, December 19, 2010 at Mercy Hospital, Scranton, PA. She was the wife of Edward Brennan. Born November 22, 1940 in Loris, SC., she was the daughter of the late Roy and Alma (Johnson) Gerald. She formerly resided in the greater New York City area. The funeral was held Thursday, December 23, 2010 from Cassese Funeral Home, Inc., 101-07 101st Avenue, Ozone Park, NY. Cremation followed at the Rose Hill Crematory, Linden, NJ. Local arrangements were entrusted to the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
