Mary Ann Ryan, age 62, of Carbondale, PA. died late Tuesday evening, July 12, 2005 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident on State Street in Nicholson, PA. Born March 17, 1943 in Jersey City, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Oakley) Tolle. She attended St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She was a graduate of the Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale. She worked as an Activities Coordinator for Osprey Ridge Health Care Center in Carbondale for many years. She enjoyed spending time and traveling with her companion for 9 years, William Bill Decker of Nicholson. She is survived by one daughter: Lorraine (Lori) Ryan of Carbondale, PA.; one son: Joseph W. Ryan of Jermyn, PA.; one sister: Rosemarie Bronson of Carbondale, PA.; one brother: Charles Tolle of Scranton, PA.; one grandson: Jeffrey Ryan The funeral was held Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 9:00 am from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, celebrated by Rev. William D. Campbell, assistant pastor. Interment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Friends called Friday, July 15, 2005 from 6-8 pm. Pallbearers: Joseph Ryan, Charles Tolle, Bill Decker and Danny Davison.
