Mary Allen, of Lenoxville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 3, 2013. She was the wife of the late Leo Allen. Born in Simpson, PA., she was the daughter of the late Wasil and Dora Kozlowska Rudick. She was employed as a seamstress at Wayne Garment, Clifford Dress Factory and Crystal Lake Sportswear of Forest City. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church in Dundaff, a board member of the Lenoxville Community Hall and an active member of the Lenoxville Senior Center. She had a deep love and dedication to her family and had a strong work ethic. She is survived by a daughter: Beverly and husband Arthur Burdett Brown; two granddaughters: Allison and husband Chad Laliberte of North Billerica, MA. and Beth Brown of Brooklyn, NY.; a sister: Stella Miller of Tacoma, WA.; a brother: Sam Rudick of Kingsley, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Barbara D. Walker; three brothers: John, Michael and Harry Rudick; three sisters: Ina Brong, Anna Shaika and Kathryn Satunas. The funeral was held Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 9:00 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 18 Airport Road, Clifford, PA., with services at 10:00 AM in St. John the Baptist Russian Orthodox Church, Dundaff, PA., celebrated by the Very Reverend Dennis Swencki. Interment, South Gibson Cemetery, South Gibson, PA. Pallbearers: Arthur Burdett Brown, Gary Walker, Paul Satunas and Greg Rudick. Friends called Monday, January 7, 2013 from 2-4 7-9 PM. Parastas was held at 7:30 PM.
