Marvin Douglas Curtis, age 90, of Newfoundland, PA, (Sterling Township), died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at the Allied Skilled Nursing, Scranton, PA. Born March 17, 1924 in Sterling, PA, he was the son of the late Francis Henry Curtis, Jr. and Letha Gertrude (Crossman) Curtis. Marvin was a self employed farmer. As per his request, he was cremated and no services were held. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
