Marlene Mazzocchi, 63, of RR1, Uniondale, PA., died Wednesday morning, November 21, 2007 at home after an extended illness. She was the wife of Louis R. Mazzocchi, who died January 13, 2003. Born October 2, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY., she was the daughter of the late Secundino and Carmen (Gonzalez) Fresse. She was a member of St. Martin of Tours Church, Jackson. PA. She was a graduate of Irving High School in Brooklyn, New York and earned an associate's degree from the American State Institute of Business in New York. She formerly resided in Brooklyn, New York and has resided in the area over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend and will be dearly missed. She is survived by three sons: Edward wife Michelle Mazzocchi of Uniondale, PA., Louis wife Jennifer Mazzocchi of Old Forge, PA. and Joseph wife Jennifer Mazzocchi of Harford, PA.; one daughter: Delcie Mazzocchi companion Randy of Gibson, PA.; ten grandchildren: Carolyne, Ryan, Cody, Valerie, Ashlyn, Justin, Abby, Amanda, Alisyn, and Joseph. The funeral was held Saturday, November 24, 2007 at 9:00 AM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home, Dundaff Main Streets, Clifford, PA., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Martin of Tours Church, Route 92, Jackson, celebrated by the Rev. Kenneth Seegar, pastor. Interment, Gelatt Cemetery, Gelatt, PA. Pallbearers: Joseph, Edward and Louis Mazzocchi, Randy Zimmerman, Jamie Canfield and Jason Perez. Friends called Friday, November 23, 2007 from 6-9 PM.
