Marjorie L. Williamson, 80, of Simpson, PA., died Wednesday afternoon, June 30, 2010 at the Forest City Nursing Home, Forest City, PA. Born April 22, 1930 in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late James and Elsie (Pearce) Corrigan. She had been employed as a sewing machine operator at P A Dress Manufacturing in Carbondale for 30 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale. She is survived by two daughters: Judy Tarchak and husband Thomas of Simpson, PA. and Linda Curyk of Simpson, PA.; one sister: Alberta Racht of Carbondale, PA.; six grandchildren: Stacy Tierney of Simpson, PA., Susan Kreutz of Pleasant Mount, PA., Stefanie Curyk of Browndale, PA., Walter D. Curyk of Simpson, PA., Thomas Tarchak of Simpson, PA. and Matthew Tarchak of Carbondale, PA; six great grandchildren: Joanna and Joshua Tierney, Elsie Mae and Anthony Kreutz, Matthew and Zachary Tarchak; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Lilly Corrigan and Shirley Miller; one brother: James Corrigan. The funeral was held Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home Cremation Services, Inc., Farview and 41st Streets, Carbondale, with Margo Tomlinson, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Carbondale, officiating. Interment, Canaan Corners Cemetery, Waymart, PA. Friends called Friday, July 2, 2010 from 4-8 PM. Pallbearers: Tom Tarchak, Matthew Tarchak, Walter Curyk, Kevin Corrigan, Eugene Natichak and John Natichak.
