Marion R. Reeser, 83, of Carbondale, PA, and formerly of Scranton, PA, died unexpectedly Monday morning, January 21, 2019 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon V. Reeser, on December 28, 2001. Born November 8, 1935 in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Esma Camin Miller. Marion was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School and Keystone College. She had been briefly employed as a legal secretary but mostly was a devoted home maker. She enjoyed crocheting, reading and needle point. She is survived by her companion of 15 years, William Sears of Carbondale, PA; and nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter: Anita Reeser; and a brother, Bertram Miller. Private interment, Abington Hills Cemetery, South Abington Twp., PA. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
