Marion Hartley Little, 89, of Baylor's Lake, Fleetville, PA, died Friday, May 19, 2017 at home. She was the wife of the late James H. Little, Sr., who died September 17, 1998.
Born April 15, 1928 in Lenoxville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harold V., Sr. and Olwen Argust Hartley.
Marion was a graduate of Penn State University where she earned a teaching degree. She worked for 11 years as a geometry teacher for Camp Hill High School prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Factoryville United Methodist Church and belonged to the Wives of Professional Engineers in Camp Hill.
She also worked part time as an educational director for the Camp Hill United Methodist Church and enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and entertaining at her lake home where she enjoyed living for the past 29 years.
She is survived by one son: James H. Little, Jr. and wife Cynthia of Fairbanks, AK; two daughters: Laurie K. Little and husband Jeffrey Reynolds of Camp Hill, PA and Jennifer L. Little and husband Mark Phillips of Morehead, KY; four grandchildren: Lauren and Logan Little, Colin Reynolds and Chloe Phillips and one brother: Harold V. Hartley, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Brookville, PA
She was preceded in death by one sister: Louise Burkhart
A memorial service was held Friday, May 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. from the Factoryville United Methodist Church, 162 College Avenue, Factoryville, PA, officiated by Rev. Peter Raser, pastor. Interment, Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA.
Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations were made to the Factoryville United Methodist Church, 162 College Avenue, Factoryville, Pa 18419.
