Marion Davis, 87, of Carbondale, PA, died Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the Carbondale Nursing and Rehab Center, Carbondale. Born November 24, 1926 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Forest and Adah Snedeker Davis. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed by the Gentex Corporation in Simpson and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carbondale. She is survived by one daughter: Linda Swan of Aiken, SC; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by one brother: Willard Davis; one sister: Frances Russell. The funeral was held Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Farview and 41st Street, Carbondale, with Rev.
