Marion Colosimo, 93, of Carbondale Township, PA, died Monday, November 1, 2021 at home after an illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Colosimo on July 18, 1990. Born October 26, 1928 in Carbondale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Julia Earyes Fox. Marion was a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale, and Lackawanna Business College, Scranton. She had been employed at the International Correspondence School, Scranton, and the Penn Children's Dress Factory, Mayfield. Marion was a member of Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, Jermyn. She is survived by a son: Richard Colosimo and wife, Margaret; two daughters: Karen Bowerman and husband, Brad and Joan Brownell and husband, Dave; five grandchildren: James Colosimo, Tristin Colosimo and fiance, Frank Surace, Alan Bowerman and wife, Kristina, Kelly Gregory and husband, Timothy and Lauren Brownell; six great-grandchildren: Bella Tomasetti, Samuel and Benjamin Bowerman, Dylan and Emily Gregory, and Piper Brownell; a sister-in-law: Mary Lou Fox; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Frank, Jr. and Joseph Fox; and a grandson: Nathan Brownell. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary Church, 622 Madison Avenue, Jermyn, PA, celebrated by the Rev. John C. Ruth, pastor. Entombment, Our Mother of Sorrows Cemetery, Greenfield Township, PA. Pallbearers: James Colosimo, Alan Bowerman, Ernest Colosimo, Eugene Colosimo, Timothy Gregory and Frank Surace. The family received friends on Saturday morning, November 6, 2021 from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to Carmine J. & Louis C.
