Obituary

Marianne Harhut, age 67, of Carbondale, PA., died early Wednesday morning, November 14, 2012 at home from a courageous battle with cancer. She was the wife of the late Richard Andrew Harhut. Born March 22, 1945 in Burgdorf, West Germany, she was the daughter of the late Ernst and Frieda Bosse. She was educated in West Germany before moving to the United States in December of 1967. She was an operator for 19 years at Gentex Corporation. She was caring and always helped others, enjoyed cleaning, collected porcelain dolls and was a loving mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend. The family would like to thank entire staff of Southern Care and Hospice Community Care for all of their care and support to Marianne during her illness. She is survived by one son: Thomas Michael Harhut of Carbondale, PA.; two daughters: Michaeline Turano of Carbondale, PA and Tanya Mesko and husband Robert of Greenfield Township, PA.; five grandchildren: Tiffany, Richard, Dylan Joshua Harhut and Kayla Reynolds; two great grandchildren: Jayden Kalee Bilko; a sister and brother Annegrate and Gunter and several nieces and nephews all of West Germany. She was preceded in death by one granddaughter: Tisha Ann Harhut; several brothers and sisters. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 9:30 AM in St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, PA., celebrated by Msgr. David L. Tressler, pastor. Inurnment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Dickson City, PA. Friends called Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 9:00 to 9:30 AM at the church. Cremation arrangements were under the care of the Carmine J. Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Farview 41st Streets, Carbondale, PA. Mass 9:30 am Saturday, November 17, 2012 St. Rose Of Lima Church, Carbondale, PA 6 North Church Street Carbondale, Pennsylvania, United States
