Marian A. Bean, 86, of Clifford Township, PA, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at home. She was the widow of John G. Bean, who died on February 11, 2013. Born in Conklin, NY, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Doris Decker Button. Marian enjoyed cooking and baking and was well known for her apple pies and cinnamon buns. She loved sitting on her deck with a cup of coffee watching the birds. She is survived by four sons: David Bean, Bobby Bean and wife Karin, Larry Bean and wife Maryann and Kenny Bean and wife Patty; three daughters: Mary Lou Whitmore and husband Steve, Patti Megivern and husband John and Darlene Hartwick; three sisters: Anita Jicka, Delores Golf and Janice Hawk; two brothers: Arnold and Richard Button; 24 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by two sons: Tommy and Duane Bean; three sisters: Ann Estabrook, Ruby Wilmarth and Mildred Ralston; four brothers: Paul, Kenneth, Donald and Robert Button. The funeral was held Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. from the Clifford United Methodist Church, 34 Main Street, Clifford, PA, with Pastor Eric Watkins, officiating. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Friends called Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were entrusted to the Shifler-Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Clifford, PA.
