Marguerite V. Prymock, 94, of Carbondale, PA, died December 31, 2023 at Allied Services Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen A. Prymock on July 11, 2013.

Born September 3, 1929 in Honesdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys Barrable Van Driesen.

Marguerite was a graduate of Honesdale High School and worked for many years in healthcare. She was a longtime employee of St. Joseph's Hospital, Carbondale, and worked at the Forest City Nursing Home. After retiring, she worked for N.E.I.U. 19, Still Meadows Nursing Home and for a local day care where she was fondly called Mrs. Margo by the children, she so enjoyed spending time with. She was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She and her husband also enjoyed many years of square dancing.

The family extends a special thank you to Allied Terrace and the Allied Skilled Nursing Home for their compassionate and dedicated care.

She is survived by two sons: Charles Prymock of Salisbury, NC and Randy Prymock and wife, Sharon of Trexlertown, PA; one brother: Joseph Van Driesen of Alta Loma, CA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two sons: Richard and infant Stephen; two brothers: Alviron and George Van Driesen; and an infant sister: Mary Gladys Van Driesen.

The funeral was held Thursday, January 11, 2024 from Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale, PA, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. from St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 North Church Street, Carbondale, PA, celebrated by Rev. Seth Wasnock, pastor. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Honesdale, PA.

Viewing hours were held Wednesday, January 10, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. and Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m.

Memorial contributions were made to St. Rose of Lima Church, 6 N. Church Street, Carbondale, PA 18407
