Margie M. Drobnicki, 62, of Carbondale, PA, died Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at Geisinger Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. She is survived by her husband, Robert Drobnicki. Born in Carbondale, she was the daughter of the late Art and Betty Jean Siebold Sweet, and the step daughter of the late Jean Marie Sweet. Margie's life revolved around her family, especially her grandchildren whom she cherished spending time with. She was fondly called "mama" by many. She is also survived by a son: Keith Drobnicki of Carbondale, PA; a daughter: Laura Swingle and husband, David of South Canaan, PA; five grandchildren: Nathan, Aubry, Caleb, Ireland and Olivia; a sister: Sandy Sweet of Carbondale, PA; a brother: Art Sweet of Scranton, PA; two step brothers: Jeff Arthur of Carbondale, PA and Tommy Arthur of Greenfield Township, PA; a step sister: Roseann DeAntonio of Carbondale, PA; several nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a son: John Drobnicki; two sisters: Ann Cavalier and Barbara Prymock; a step brother: John Arthur. A blessing service was held Sunday, January 12, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. from the Carmine J. & Louis C. Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 89 Farview Street, Carbondale.
