Margaret Williamson, a resident of the Lackawanna County Health Care Center, Olyphant, PA., and formerly of Carbondale, PA., died Thursday night, April 7, 2011 at Ascera Care Hospice at Mid Valley Hospital, Peckville, PA. She was the wife of the late Richard H. Williamson, Sr., who died August 31, 2005. Born in Carbondale, PA., she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Ivy (Wilkins) Hoyle. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a licensed practical nurse at the Carbondale General Hospital. She was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Carbondale and its Altar Guild and Episcopal Church Women's Group. The family would like to thank Dr. Lori Williams and the nurses and staff at the Lackawanna Health and Rehabilitation Center for their care of Margaret. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Ascrea Care Hospice at Mid Valley Hospital for all of the care provided to Margaret during her final week. She is survived by one daughter: Sue Turonis and husband Joseph of Carbondale, PA.; one son: Arthur Williamson and wife Mary of Carbondale, PA.; four grandchildren: Richard, Tanya, Nia and Nicholas Williamson; five great grandchildren: Richard, Ariel, Roger, Casey and Cameron; two brothers: Glynn Hoyle and wife Florence of Archbald, PA. and Arthur R. Hoyle, Jr. and wife Ceal of Greencastle, PA.; one sister: Nancy Miller of Lakewood, NJ.; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son: Richard Williamson, Jr., who died in 1995 and two infant grandchildren. The funeral was held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 1:30 PM from the Edward A. Wade Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 4 Morris Place at Terrace Street, Carbondale with services at 2:00 PM at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 58 River Street, Carbondale, with Rev. Donald Schaible, Rector, officiating. Interment, Willow View Cemetery, Clifford, PA. Pallbearers: Arthur Williamson, Nicholas Williamson and Richard Williamson. Friends called Sunday, April 10, 2011 from 5-8 PM.
