Carol Bufano, 67, of Scranton, PA., died Tuesday Morning, April 27, 2010 at Mercy Hospice, Scranton. Born in Scranton, PA., she was the daughter of the late Francis J. and Margaret (Tobias) Murphy. She was a graduate of Dunmore High School and was a bartender at Tony's and Mary's Bar, South Scranton. She is survived by one son: Martin Bufano of Scranton, PA.; five grandchildren: Angel Smith, Nicholas Bufano, Jamie Marchesani, Joseph Catalano and Marty Bufano. She was preceded in death by one daughter: Frances Ann Bufano, who died on February 19, 2000; and her ex-husband: Joseph Bufano, who died on April 9, 2009. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, May 3, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary of Mount Carmel Church, 322 Chestnut Street, Dunmore, PA. Inurnment, old parish cemetery, Dunmore. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to the Parise Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Carbondale, PA.
